Senior Research Analyst - Economic Policy

Gateway Research Centre is seeking a highly qualified Senior Research Analyst to join our Economic Policy team. The successful candidate will conduct comprehensive research on macroeconomic trends, policy analysis, and contribute to evidence-based policy recommendations for government and private sector stakeholders.

• Master's degree in Economics, Public Policy, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in economic research or policy analysis
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills
• Proficiency in statistical software (STATA, R, SPSS)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with econometric modeling
• Knowledge of East African economic landscape preferred

• Conduct in-depth economic research and policy analysis
• Prepare comprehensive research reports and policy briefs
• Present findings to government officials and stakeholders
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary research teams
• Monitor economic trends and policy developments
• Contribute to grant proposal writing
• Mentor junior research staff
• Represent the organization at conferences and workshops
